FUJIHANA DAY 2002 Special

For FujiHana Day 2002, I'd slaved to death over an animated gif 'movie' featuring the likes of the stills below. Unfortunately, I lack the software to animate it properly, and the resulting file is a few megabytes in size [done up on a cheap frame by frame type program]. -_-;; This can be downloaded below.

What I said on the day itself :

'Okay, so technically it's captain x vice-captain day and I've personally never really gone for all these 'day' things. But a couple of folks have asked me about my FujiHana day plans and well, you can't blame a girl for tryin'. ^.^;;;

Did this when I was home sick and suicidally depressed from lack and desire yesterday. [Then rushed out a couple of essays at 1 and prepared for a mass civics presentation today. Can't win them all. :\] In case anyone cares...yeppers. It was a lot of work. A lot a lot of work. I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I conceived the idea for it. I should have just finished 'Deus Misereatur' and saved me the trouble. >.< [Actually, I think the reason why I did this instead was b/c 'DM' is emotionally a lot more work, and I just wasn't up to it.]

The whole thing, from start to end, was a digital production. No physical paper. The style's extreme, true, but I always had a thing for nearly nose-less chibis with big eyes. ^.^;; I don't usually do cel-colouring either, but my normal soft-cg didn't seem to fit, so I did a hasty job with some first-time techniques. Hope it turned out okay.

Actually it's quite lame. ^.^;; And there are some parts that I know went wrong and wish I could change [but since putting the gif together took me about an hour, I'll edit it when I get some >better< software. ^.^;;]. I'm kinda ashamed of it, but incredibly proud at the same time. I've never done anything like it before.

**Note : I don't know no Japanese! I kinda muddled what I have up and checked it on a couple of servers, so by no means trust it!!!

It's really lame...but I kinda sorta like it anyway. Hope you do too. ^.^;;

Happy FujiHana Day, everybody.

[So, am I being a good gakusha yet?]'
