This is just stupid. ^.^;; It was more sonnet-writing practice than anything else, and the verses are all mucked-up. I do kinda like the last two lines, though - inspired by a certain Star Trek sonnet. *grin*
Technical Notes :The premise here is unrequited, suffering-in-silence love. From, gee-no-prizes-huh?, Hanagata’s POV, towards, well-no-prizes-either, Fujima.
‘You came, a shining angel...’
by Djinn
You came, a shining angel, to my soul
With sword of flame, a rapier thrust of charm
A light divine, a fire from hell below
A mesmerising maze of heal and harm
I lost my senses in that labyrinth
I lost my voice, my lips stilled by your name
Saw naught but you, who blazed my dark within
Yet showed naught, but a girlish blush, my shame
Alas, my heart! Wilt thou beat’st so, not still
To offer some repose from my tumult
Of guilt, of shame, of secret love revealed
Through eyes alone, my tongue is stayed by doubt
And in my heart, I hold, each silent day
"I love you, captain." ...words I dare not say.
END
And...er...yah. That’s it. ^.^;;
